Ok I have one question.

On July 11th will I be able to go in an ATT store with my old iPhones SIM card and walk out with a new iPhone only paying the 200/300 dollars, or will I have to pay 200/300 plus a 200 cancelation fee and 10 dollars extra on the data plan?

From this post:

If you signed a 2-year contract with AT&T when the iPhone came out (which you pretty much had to), you'll have to sign another new 2-year contract to score a new iPhone 3G. The good news is that AT&T will allow you to overwrite your old contract with your new contract. In other words, you're just locked into another 2 years, not 3.

You won't pay for any cancelation fee - unless they make an exception (unlikely) - And $10 extra on the data plan you will have to pay, or at least your supposed to... I don't know how they will enforce that.

You'll have to pay $200/$300 + the extra $10 a month, I believe. Plus extend your contract.

ok that makes me feel soooooo much better. I thought I was going to have to pay 400/500 plus 10 for data.
