nytimes.com is so slow in Safari on my M1 MacBook Pro as to be useless. Every other website has no problems, only nytimes.com. nytimes.com is fast in MS Edge on the MacBook Pro, and it is fast on my iPad and in Safari on my other computer (MacBook Air). I have tried to clear cookies and cache for nytimes.com and restarting the computer, to no avail. Any suggestions for what I can do?

Ad blocker in place? One browser have one, other not? All have blockers but different ones? Ad blocker needs an update?

My experiences, usually an ad blocker causing the problem: switch to different one, uninstall/re-install. Have seen where one works well for longest time, then overnight, pages have problems loading.

Thanks, but no, I don’t have any ad blockers, or any extensions in Safari (except 1password). And it is just that one website.
