I can't see it but I can feel it... Also slightly less of a click on the more recessed button (volume up button)

Anyone else? It's barely noticeable and not too big a deal for me. But still
 
I couldn't agree more :) It's not even an issue for me, but for whatever reason I'm just curious to know if it's common.

Didn't know what say about this. So I called my good friend Will Forte.
His response:

Maybe you should try to wear the raised button out by clicking it a dozen times. Then it would be more balanced.

Try to control the volumes using touch screen instead (I don't have an iPhone so I'm not sure if you can do that for calls).
