One year Old iPhone 5s asked to be set as new when I connect it to iTunes to sync.

I have a one year Old iPhone 5s. I want to put music on it and so I plugged it in to my computer. It asked me if I trusted the computer, I said yes, trust it. Now when I go to the iPhone tag in iTunes it gives me two options: Restore as a new iPhone, or restore a backup. I do not want to do that. I just want to sync the phone with the computer, I do not want to restore, backup, update, or anything like that. What can I do?
Edit: it does not let me skip this tab, it also says, welcome to your new iPhone when it is clearly not new, although I think it is the first time I connect it to iTunes so that's why maybe?

Yes, that is why.

Happened to me before. Select setup as new. Everything on the phone will stay the same and intact.
And after that you will be able to sync it with your iTunes library.
