I have iLife 08 with OS 10.4.11. I am trying to use the OneStep DVD to burn the video from my Panasonic SDR-H40P HDD video camera but the program will not recognize my camera. I have down loaded to iMovie with no problem. I have done all the updates and I read the other threads in this forum that are having the same problem. One suggestion was to set the camera correctly but mine does not have that option and the camera manual is less than wonderful. I can use all the other features of iDVD except for OneStep. Any help would be greatly appreciated-- don't want to lose the grandkids.

Thank you

That was way too easy. I read and heard firewire but was having a brain.... when I plugged in my USB cable that came with the camera. Now I have to find the correct firewire cable that will fit my camcorder. Thank you so much spinnerlys

According to the manual (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/lit_files/1600.pdf), your camcorder does not have a Firewire port, it is not a DV/HDV camcorder anyway. No way to use the OneStep feature as it seems.
