I'm sorry if these have all been covered elsewhere in this or the iOS 10 forum.
After a week with my iPhone 7 128Gb JB, upgraded from a iP6s, I'm experiencing the following niggles with the phone/iOS10.0.2. (I can't tell if it's the phone or the iOS to blame). I'm wondering whether these are all recognised issues with the phone/ios and waiting for a bug fix, or if it's down to me and needs an iTunes restore - which I want to avoid if I can because it takes ages...
1) [This one I know is widely recognised] Inability to connect, or maintain a connection to 4G on Three UK network. It looks like this is an issue with the 800Mhz frequency. Certain a restore isn't going to solve this in the short term.
2) Bluetooth often fails to connect automatically to paired accessories / my car without a push and often drops the connection for no apparent reason.
3) The battery appears to be disproportionately hit by one or two apps. Notably, the Music App, which I use for perhaps 40 minutes on the way to work in the morning with already-downloaded tracks, ends up costing me 40% of my battery by mid-morning! This can't be right, and something I never experienced with my previous iPhones under exactly the same usage.
If the general advice is to go with a restore via iTunes, are there any advantages to doing this via DFU mode, or is a normal restore sufficient? Also, are there any issues with applying the backup afterwards, or is it best to start afresh?
Although I've been an iPhone enthusiast for years, I'm always keen to get the latest thoughts on what the best approach is to these things.
