Online apple store discounts

Hi, I am looking to buy a new iMac but was wondering whether do the apple online store give promotions during the christmas period. Anyone who is familiar to their discount patterns?

Agree that refurb store sells cheaper iMacs. But the idea of paying so much for something that other rejected somehow does not sit well with me..

Agree that refurb store sells cheaper iMacs. But the idea of paying so much for something that other returned and Apple went over it with a fine tooth comb before reselling it somehow does not sit well with me..

I pick up pennies from the ground, so I care about money. However, if you are purchasing a Mac, you need to get used to the lack of significant discounts, or get comfortable with refurbs.

I am currently a student. So I think I am able to get the education discount. Was only asking whether do Apple give discounts during the holiday period. So can do a comparison.

The Black Friday deals were the best you could get. But I believe the education discount for iMac is cheaper than that still.

Too bad I am in Singapore. Black friday discount was not applicable here.

It doesn't matter, the education discounts makes the iMac cheaper than the Black Friday discount did.

The Apple Store doesn't do holiday discounts other than the Black Friday discounts, which they called "The special one-day Apple shopping event" in other countries.
