Most consumers are likely either unaware of or uncomfortable with the idea of DNA sequencing, but 23andMe hopes to change that with its first national television ad campaign.
The company was founded in 2006 by Anne Wojcicki, who is married to Google co-founder Sergey Brin. It has raised nearly $70 million in funding to date.

a $99 dna test purchase and theyll send the kit, we have to send our saliva then they will give us a incomplete report about us ?

so I am just wondering is this another data collection technique ?

they have
our voice ..
our web history ..
Facial recognition ..
Family history ..
.....
what next blood type ? naah its not unique enough so
what about figure prints ..... problem is how to get finger prints .... so the best way is saying give us your details and your saliva we will explain about you !

so who is the product ? $99 DNA test or our personal data ?
