Hello folks!
For the past months I invited Mac users to play online logic games at http://youvscomputer.com/. However, reading discussions on Apple forums a few days ago I found out that there is a problem with Safari: due to some reason it doesn't run Java applets although the latest Java update is installed and ordinary Java applications run just fine. At that other browsers (Firefox and Opera) run Java applets just fine. Investigation showed that sometimes it is possible to repair Safari by tweaking some system settings but this doesn't always work. The issue has been discussed in detail in this thread on Apple forums: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1921644&tstart=45.
So, if you want to play online games implemented as Java applets or need to run other applications made using this technology, I recommend that you review the above-mentioned thread - it should help you.
