Online orders from Apple - anyones shipped yet?

I am from the UK and ordered my 16gb White iphone within 10 minutes of the online store opening.
My order says it has not shipped and estimates iphone will be delivered between 9-11 may.

What are your shipping dates and estimated delivery dates?

That sounds a reasonable delivery estimate to me, especially since we have had the long 4 day Bank Holiday, so between close of business on Thursday and Tuesday of this week nothing much in the way of deliveries is going to happen.

I understand the 4 day bank holiday will cause delays but i would have thought there would have been stock available in the UK so deliveries might have happened on the 6th May.

A few more day wait is not too bad compared to the wait for ipad 2s.

If you're near a store I'd call them and check stock. Southampton had loads in when i bought on Thursday, admittedly that was Thursday but it's worth a shot if you want it sooner?
