I used to play on my desktop, but i havent played on my mac before. I have downloaded full tilt, but it doesnt seem like you can play real money, just fake. Does anyone know of a good site/app where i can play with real money on a mac?

Huh? I'm able to play with real money on Full Tilt on my Macs. Are you sure you're looking for $ games properly? You probably have a playchip only checkbox ticked somewhere in the main window.
