And, the supplied images are stock photos of a Titanium PowerBook, which never came in a 17" variant. Would be interesting to see what one ended up with for purchasing the thing.

I saw so many systems advised as "PowerMac G5" that were in fact newer Intel Mac Pros.

Yep, it's a 64-bit G4 that boots Windows 7... and supports 4GB of RAM with a 17" display in a 15" housing. There sure is some curious tech crammed into that TiBook shell!

There have been lots of power macs on Craigslist advertised as Mac Pros. The prices vary wildly based on who's selling though. A 17" TiBook would be very interesting though!

I want to know how that guy makes enough money off of 'modding' computers to make the time investment worth it. I just looked at his eBay page and found a listing where he hacked up a Clamshell and put an iPad where the screen goes. I guess somebody must want that stuff.
