2003 17" PowerBook G4 for $89 (mods, this is not my website or business).

4GB ram installed, runs Windows 7.

Am I missing something here?

And, the supplied images are stock photos of a Titanium PowerBook, which never came in a 17" variant. Would be interesting to see what one ended up with for purchasing the thing.

But hey, at least there's that 100% no questions asked return policy! :D

Probably an extremely valuable prototype! :D

Hurry now let's tell mhd59michel about this so he can corner the used market on parts and then transmogrify otherwise good machines into heaping plates of hot garbage to hawk to unsuspecting buyers at 8x their actual value of worth.

"But polka-dot-anodized P R O T O T Y P E G5 cases which have Intel inside!" you mock-cry…

There have been lots of power macs on Craigslist advertised as Mac Pros. The prices vary wildly based on who's selling though. A 17" TiBook would be very interesting though! :D

I want to know how that guy makes enough money off of 'modding' computers to make the time investment worth it. I just looked at his eBay page and found a listing where he hacked up a Clamshell and put an iPad where the screen goes. I guess somebody must want that stuff.
