Only 3 emails per contact?

Why is the contact limited to 3 emals addresses only?
I have 4 proper emails myself. One for clients and colleagues, one for friends, one for business and one to upload an entry to my blog.

On my iphone every time you add an email a new blank appears beneath it. I stopped adding at 5 but I imagine you could add as many as you want.

Yes because you're adding to your iPhone . I was adding to my exchange contacts list. I moved from an android to the iPhone recently and managed to transfer my contacts by adding my gmail address as a exchange server to my iPhone and allowing octants to sync.

So i guess my next question is how do i transfer contacts from exchange server gmail to iPhone contact list?
