I am new in california so I use navigation every single day. I love iPhone. But it does not have free navigation system like android.

Is there a way to get a free reliable navigation system on iPhone?

I am willing to pay a one time fee. If there is any app.

I am on verizon.

rumor has it that there will be Voice Navigation as well, as part of the Assistant (Siri acquisition) feature.

I also wish the iPhone has this feature. Google maps on android is amazing! If you go to the app store and go to the navigation category you'll find tons of free ones. I gave in and got the ($39 i think) Garmin app. It works even better than a stand alone garmin GPS!

Edit: The Garmin app is a one time fee

I would definitely like a free/integrated voice based Navigation system in iPhone. Not a bad thing to have. In those "Assistant" related stories, they keep saying it will help with Google Maps (as in Navigation), so let's see if Apple was holding this feature out for the A5. Fingers crossed!
