Only certain apps on iPhone won't work with home wifi, other apps work perfectly

On 10.3.2 (14F5065b)

Alien Blue and Instagram refuse to recognize my wifi at home. When I switch off to LTE, works perfectly.

All other apps recognize my wifi while it's on. I can visit reddit.com and instagram.com just fine on my MacBook on home wifi.

Have tried:
- reseting network settings on phone
- reseting router/modem
- "renewing lease" for wifi network
- wiping phone and starting fresh (and from a quick test, IG did work over wifi after the clean install)

I'm completely stumped.
