Only early shipped iPhones have battery issues?

Are the early iPhone 4S only affected by battery issues or do the recent ones that are sold also have this problem? ( so the first batch from China vs the recent batches that are shipped )

I think its more like a firmware issue instead of hardware!

I have a launch day phone and mine works perfectly fine I get roughly the same life as my ip4 gave me!

My Battery last 2 days, no problems here.

I got my 4S on release day and my battery is just fine.

The people who just mainly make phone calls and text get 2-3 days of life. The rest of us who use apps that eat up data get usually 1 day but on average it's 12hrs. You're either one or the other.

Has nothing to do with the 4S. It is an software issue that many apple devices are suffering from. To answer your question, I received my 4S on launch day and it does NOT have battery issues.

To reiterate what people have said, it is a software issue.

I constantly see phantom usage on my phone, and I don't know what it could possibly be. I see it on my 4S, my old iPhone 4, and my dads 3GS.
