Only encode xx mins with Visualhub

Recent Handbrake to Visualhub convert, and I have to say the application is a little too "simple" for my taste. That said, is it possible to queue Visualhub to only encode say 5 minutes of a movie to test settings? Also, is there anyway to get a little more detail on the status bar similar to what Handbrake provides with FPS for 1st and 2nd pass as well as ETA for the job?

P.S. For those wondering, the only reason I switched is to encode 720p from Blu-Ray as Handbrake will only support standard definition @ 480p.
