I have a 14" M1 MacBook Pro. I was originally getting about 8-10 hours of battery life. A few days ago, that dropped to about 4 hours. Today, I've been on battery for 2:30 and it tells me I have 1:30 left (I'm at 40%).
In the battery menu in the menu bar, it says that Adobe Core Sync is using significant energy. However, in Activity Monitor Core Sync hardly even registers, with an energy impact of 0.2.
I do see that a process called "xrdd" is consuming between 95-100% of CPU and has been doing that for 33 hours? I did a quick search, and it seems that this is related to the X-rite calibration software/hardware I used to calibrate my MacBook Pro screen. However, I don't have a firewall enabled, so the support article doesn't apply to me.
I'll contact X-rite support, but figured I'd post here in case anyone else has ideas.
Thanks,
Chris
