Hi, everybody
I lost my 3g iphone :( I have 2 questions

1. How much will I have to pay for a new one?
2. What happens to my old one, I mean if I find it later...will I be able to use it with a different carrier?

Thanx

The first thing you need to do, much prior to posting on the forums, is contact your cell company and tell them to shut off usage on the account.

if you dont call your carrier and tell them to shut off the usage then he can make all the calls he want further more i'd call him back and see if your carrier can pinpoint his location via GPS.

Yes he will be able to use it, he just needs to get a new SIM and he a ready to go. Did you have it locked or do you need to start changing passwords that you may have had on phone?

Now, you can purchase a new replacement at $399 (8GB) / $499 (16GB) and have it setup on your existing account. It will come with a new SIM but you will be able to keep your number. Once you get it, just do a restore in iTunes to get your data / music reloaded.
