There are Threads if the 15p is a “S” or major update. IMO we see only incremental updates since Years because the iphone became a mature device.
I don’t think we will ever see big steps again. Not for iPhone. But this is good we should be happy about it. Why?
We have a device which shoots photos in high quality and we can take high quality videos from our kinds, pets, while in vacation etc
The older members here know that this was not standard, we have years where we have only pictures of bad quality, if any.
Now I have a big media collections of really good pictures from years ago. Happy about these developments in the past.

I am happy with a new iPhone coming up each year as there is something to look for each year 😁 I have a new toy every year, yay 👍Hence, incremental upgrade is welcome.

I'm coming from a 6yr old iPhone X so there's nothing incremental about upgrading to the 15 ProMax. Anytime you upgrade from one or two generations of previous devices you aren't going to see much of an improvement so you either upgrade because you want to or the device has some sort of issue that forces the purchase..

I usually update every 2-3 years so my preference is for a tried and true working phone. I don’t mind buying the “S” version with just the incremental improvements.
