Only my girlfriend likes the "find my friends" app

I won't. Unlike Siri, I see no use for this app. Outside of tracking your kids or something I guess... I dont know, I just don't get it.
 
I plan on using it to track my husbands progress in traffic on his way home from work. Might cut down on the number of luke warm or overcooked dinners we have!!
 
Or if you're meeting up with your girlfriend, but left the time vague, you don't have to constantly update her with your location in case she's done. It's quite useful for couples.
 
Great now my wife will know I am not at the office when I am really out doing things with other women. LOL I know a lot of people were thinking this, so I had to say it!!!!

Definitely. I plan to use this app with my husband too. Not to "track" him because I don't trust him.. well okay, that might be it. Then I can see if he is making that Starbucks stop he said he wasn't going to make on the way to work.. :D :D :D Just kidding. I think it would be fun, though.
 
Would be great to help meet up with friends when you're just barhopping/wandering around town (if you live in an urban area).
 
I think there might be some small business implications here as well. I could see small businesses using this to help track 2 or 3 outside sales guys or delivery vehicles.

If I find enough friends of mines using it I'll definitely take the dive. It really does seem like a useful app to me.

Personally, I hate check-ins like FourSquare or Facebook check-ins. This is something that gives you a live location of your friends, can show your location for a limited amount of time, and even find directions to your friends location if you need them.

Seems like it'd be great for finding things to do and also group events like Halloween Horror Nights where I like to have big groups but we don't always stick together for everything.
 
it'll help when my friends are at parties and i'm meeting up with them and they are too incoherent to tell me where it is!

I ALREADY use 'Find my iPhone' for this all the time. But it's not really made to be used that way so it's a little clunky. I'm looking forward to using an app that's better designed for how I use it.
 
this will come in handy when my wife and i are grocery shopping and she wanders away and i spend an hour trying to find her :mad:
