I just finished a slideshow of the past year's worth of my life in iMovie. I created the slideshow in iPhoto, and after screwing around worthlessly in iDVD for a while and trying to get audio tracks, etc the way I wanted, I moved to iMovie and got it all done.
However, I'm now trying to import another (far smaller) slideshow of a specific trip (only about 80 photos) and it exports out of iPhoto, but when I import it into iMovie, only the first minute or so (of 6) is imported. It shows the full length of the .mov file, but there are no images. I'm not sure if the issue is in the importing or exporting, but I've deleted and recreated the original slideshow, and both the imported .mov and the event itself in iMovie to no avail.
I'm aware of the issues with slideshows in iPhoto that already have audio tracks, etc associated with them not being imported into iMovie. Learned all that with the first one, which is perfect now. However, after exporting the second slideshow, I go to import into iMovie, and the three separate files coming from three separate instances of the same exact slideshow all have differing lengths. The longest (and correct) one is just over six minutes, and the third one is just over 4 mins. Any reason why this would be the case and how I can fix it? Seems like something is interfering or cutting off the import/export process.. stumped. Thanks!
