OnTrac - The worst shipping company available

3 times in a row, I've now had deliveries from Best Buy, which were promised the next day, delayed for over 3-5 days. They use OnTrac. Getting any customer service from that company is next to impossible. Their website updates are not accurate. I had a package "out for delivery on the 12th, now it shows "in transit" with a delivery date of yesterday 1/13.

Just venting and wondering if anyone else has dealt with this company? Best Buy has given me 30 dollar credits for this delivery, but it was a gift and now I'm SOL. I wanted to skip the 30-45 minute standing outside to get into BB here in CA. 3 times, pretty much now out for Best Buy, I'm going Amazon from now on.

I've used OnTrac. Not by my choice though, mainly eBay vendor decisions. I've never had a problem with them but the last time my package was shipped through them was a couple of years ago.

OnTrac is a small company (they have a hub here in Phoenix) so they might be getting short-staffed and overloaded because of the pandemic.

Likely, and my package still hasn't arrived. BB should use a much more reliable vendor.

As a laughable follow-up.. Original package probably is lost, its over a week now on next day shipping. BB sent out another package on Friday, was delayed Saturday, now still didn't get it today, Monday. It shows the last location OnTrac's site as a city under 20 miles away.

The part that's funny is I submitted a return to BB Saturday, they use UPS as their return vendor, and they already got my return. So a new order that was initiated a day before, still couldn't get here before my return. Amazing Best Buy and OnTrac, as a Elite Plus member, I will not order anything online again for a long while.
