Hi guys,

Can this be done? On my windoze machine i used to right click a file in picasa and select open in PhotoShop.

Now i have a mac i want to do the same but from iPhoto to Aperture.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

If anyone cares you can set Aperture or what ever you like to be an "external editor" and still right click the image whilst in iPhoto.

Its a bit clunky but does the job.

If Aperture is on your dock, you should just be able to drag the photo from iPhoto to the Aperture icon. If it's not on your dock, just start aperture and it will appear on the dock.

Really!? You may be my hero! I'll try this later :D

not really sure what you are trying to achieve here

iPhoto and Aperture are non destructive editors, they do not touch the original file

So if you send an image from iPhoto to Aperture, the changes will not be seen in iPhoto after you have edited (which is the purpose of using an external editor)
