Open firmware problems

i downloaded this under 10.3.9 panther, and then updated to tiger. I cannot open the utility in Tiger, and need to restart my computer in Verberose, and can't without removing it.

Any ideas?

beats me, maybe they have included it in tiger, just with a different weirder name. have you tired spotlighting for it ?

In Panther the Firmware paswword recovery utility became assimilated by Disk Utility (or whatever it's called, I'm doing Windows right now, sorry), my guess is that it's the same in Tiger.

Check it out, you should be looking for a menu item and not a push button or icon.
