"Open in low resolution" uncheckable

Hi. I have a 13" MacBook Pro with Retina display running Mavericks. I recently installed Guitar Pro 6 and, I guess, it's not optimized for the display. I thought that I could just uncheck the "Open in low resolution" for the app but it's checked and greyed out so I can't uncheck it. Anyone know why it's uncheckable and how I could solve it?
