hey,
when i want to send something in skype/adium/msn etc i click on send file and then the finder opens where i can select the file.
i work with audio files a lot and so i use itunes for my music. on snow leopard i could just select "Music" at the bottom at "Media" on the left side of that window to select the file which i want to send.
now it tells me to "Open iTunes to populate this list" although iTunes is open. i just want to send files and not want to browse to the file but being able to search via id3 tags and so on. but the list is blank for me.

with "Photos" it works like it should!

does anyone have an idea? this is really annoying :(
thx for your help and sorry for any language mistakes, english is not my first language.

hey, i still need help, even with the new itunes update i get the same mistake

I'm having this same issue when using iMovie and selecting iTunes to insert audio clips. No audio files appear and I get a "Open iTunes to populate this list" message.
