Open Mac Notes on another macbook

Hello there,

I've tried to find some answers on the same topic, but so far I have not found any answers so I am sorry if this has been answered before.

I just changed from one mac to another and I can`t use my old hard drive to boot any more. But I can access that drive and I can take what I need from it. But I can't seem to find a way how to take my old notes from the notes app and open them on my new Mac. I've got loads of very useful notes so I really want to make it work.

I've located the folder where the note files are, where I find 3 files
"NotesV6.storedata-wal"
"NotesV6.storedata-shm"
"NotesV6.storedata"

I've tried to put them in the folder of my new mac, but they don't show up.

Any suggestion, anyone who knows how to solve this?

This article sort of describes what you've done, but perhaps you haven't followed these directions completely? Have a read and see if that helps.
