i saw a MacNN thread a good while ago about "open source" icons, which are essentially photoshop files that generous designers upload so that those of us with little knowledge about making icons can figure out how it's done.
somebody added one today and it brought the concept back to mind, so i thought that instead of making a MacNN account for one post, i'd start one here.
a few months ago, i designed the new icon for the very cool iTerm application. it's not that great and my implementation of highlighting is flawed, but i thought i'd post it for anyone who was interested. (multi-layer tiff)
i think it's a neat idea for those of us who like to tinker, so feel free to post anything you like.
