Open Windows shortcut on iMAC

hi all,

I have a shared folder on Windows XP. There is a shortcut of folder in that shared folder. I can connect the shared folder and see the shortcut on iMAC. When I open double click the shortcut, there is a pop up window and ask me to choose a program to open the shortcut. I was wondering what program I should choose or how to open the shortcut on iMAC using an alterative method. Thank you
