I know that the iPod touch can open Word documents in Mail, but what about Safari? If I'm on a webpage and click on a link to a Word document, will it open it or complain that the source file is unknown or something like that?

What about PDF files? Can Safari open those too?

Thanks in advance.

I know for fact that Safari can open PDF files, I view PDFs using Safari a lot. If Mail can open Word documents then I see absolutely no reason why Safari wouldn't either.
