Hi,

I have 24" iMac and when I open QT, VLC or any other application it opens in the left upper corner. Especially it is annoying when I open small size video file and every time it opens I have to drag it to the center of the screen. I would say I am new to OSX and I would like to ask you for advice. Is there any way to make all apps open in the center of the screen?

Most apps remember where you like to keep them. Drag QuickTime to the centre, quit it and when you reopen it should start in the centre. :)

That was what I thought, but it does not work this way. Every time I open a file it opens in that corner.

Weird. Quit QuickTime, open it, drag it to the centre, quit it again and reopen it. Do this without making any other changes to QuickTime and without playing any videos. Does it still pop up on the left?

It works this way, if I just open QT. But when I open the video it opens in top left corner.
