Love this app, howevere I heard that they're going to release a much waited update soon for El Capitan users, and hopefully that will bring new features, such as netplay hopefully.

Anyone heard of any news on when this update might be coming out?

The beta one is great. I haven't had any issues with it not playing any games. Version 2.0 looks like its going to be even nicer!

I'm using the stable release, where to get the beta version from and any info about version 2.0?

I hope it will support netplay.

Awesome emulator, perhaps the best out for any platform they did a wonderful job of everything. I've been using it since beta infancy.

I generally use Retroarch, as i prefer some of the cores included, but the interface on OpenEmu is top notch, i will definitely have to install and give it another shot.

OpenEmu is such an awesome piece of software. It totally got me playing emulators again after many years. I finished games like Earthbound and Final Fantasies again.

Not sure when the release date will be, but definitely is not the Beta we've been using though.

I agree as well, is such a great software to use.

This software is wonderful, does anybody know if anyone is putting together any game bundles that avoid all the different Japanese and hacked releases ?

I didn't realize how many different emulators are included in this app until I installed it on my iMac. I have like over 15 different emulators! But on my MacBook i only have about 8. Does anyone now why that is?

I'm assuming it depends on your system specs. If it can handle it then it will install more emulators. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

All I can say is that I run the latest version v1.0.4 554-gf588330-Release, not the experimental version and with the Mac Pro specs below I get 13 different emulators.

I like OpenEmu but still using PPSSPP when I boot up to windows. The only issue I have with the PSP emulator on OpenEmu is the inability to increase texture resolution as a lot of games look blurry without it. At least the Iris graphics are more than powerful enough to render at 4x textures while running full speed on God Eater.
