From what I've seen so far, Apple seems to be very good at providing documentation that provides a ton of information, but somehow leaves you still confused when you finish reading it. 
I know the SDK is still pretty new, but since OpenGL is a portable system, could anyone recommend any tutorials on making a state-based game system with it, or anything else that would help me get over the little learning hump that i seem to be stuck at?
