hi. I have a bunch of .7z files, which is basically a compressed zip file, only compressed much better. but for some reason, I cant seem to find a mac program out there that decompresses these files. any ideas?

Do you think it would work if I installed VirtualPC on my computer, and used a windows program to decompress it?

please help

Yep, VPC running Windows should run the program needed to open this up. I don't believe that 7up zip files work on anything but Windows.

Its a pretty substantial boost, especially in page rendering/scrolling.
Agreed. I've got the G5 optimized version for our iMac, and scrolling + opening new tabs is noticeably smoother than with the normal version. Haven't tested any G4 builds though.

Off-topic but I see you have numerous Firefox builds optimised for different processors, how much of a boost is there?
I've done some tests in the past and they show a ~20% speed boost.
You should notice the faster startup and page rendering! ;)

I have a MDD Powermac with a PowerPC 7455, I don't see any builds specfically for that chip.

Help?
