Is there any way to get Siri to open my google assistant without me having to unlock my phone first?
I am fully in both google and iOS eco systems and much prefer to have the google assistant tell me about my day ahead as she seems much smarter about it. News, weather, calendar, etc. So annoying to have Siri tell me I need to unlock my iPhone first. There are numerous other apps that Siri also refuses to open from a locked home screen. My phone is out of reach at night and when I wake up I don’t want to get right out of bed, who does?
Also, while I’m at it why can’t Siri open a certain news app on my phone and instead tells me I need to install that app when it is already installed? I actually prefer the iPhone over the pixel but the Siri issues and her seemingly lack of intelligence continues to cause me to throw in the towel and head back to pixel for the smarter assistant.
If she could only open my google assistant from across the room I’d be a happy camper.
I’m guessing it may be a security issue but if that’s the case then there should be a bypass setting. Getting kind of tired of Apple telling me how to use my phone that I paid for and some of the restrictions are just ridiculous not the least of which is the Home Screen icon placements and the ridiculous App Library not being able to even move it around or hide non used apps, and don’t even get me started on the crappy widgets but that’s for another day, another thread.
