I'm obviously no wizard here, but I used the Flip4Mac codec and QT to open a WMV file that I wanted to convert. I resaved it in QT so it is now a .mov

However, even though I have done that, I still am unable to open it in iMovie and now I can only play it in QT and cannot actually save it anymore.

Can anybody give me a reason and better yet, a program that will convert wmv to quicktime on an intel mac?

Thanks in advance.

I believe the only formats that iMovie can read are .dv and .mp4

As for converting wmv to quicktime, look for a recent thread on Flip4Mac and others on Intel machines...I'll look for it if I get a chance. You'll likely only find for-pay solutions at this point.
