opening movies in qwicktime

so i imported a movie from my flash drive and i tried to open it in quicktime but it says that i have to install plugins when i open the application. i have an ibook g4 and i dont know which plugins to install

So you don't know which format your movie is in? Standard suggestion:

1. Download and install Flip4Mac.
2. Download and install Perian.

Use Google to locate them.
