I was looking through some old CD's and found a folder with a lot of my old Degree work in it. most of this was encrypted in OS9 (don't ask.. shady housemate stealing ideas...)

Can Panther decrypt these files? if so, how?

Don't you think that the answer to your question depends on the utility that you used to encrypt the files?

Yeah, sorry... forgot to mention it..

I used the native to OS9 encryption, this is why I wondered if apple had followed across OS's with the same encryption system.

I kept a copy of the OS9 encryption software and copyied it onto my new system. It works fine under classic. I'm not aware of any OSX native version.
