Try a reboot.

Opening .pdf files in iOS Mail

Try a reboot.

Hard reboot accomplished ... no change. "Quick Look" isn't bringing it up, either. Hard reboot done twice, still can't view the .pdf file. Could this be an issue with Mail, or the overall software on the phone?

It sometimes happens that the PDF takes time to load all the content. It'll obviously take more time if it has a lot of pages. Happens with me sometimes when I try to open a PDF that has 20+ pages. It says downloaded and when you try to open it, there's nothing. I leave the screen on for a few mins. so that it can load all the content.

Another possibility can be that the PDF file was just corrupt.
