Hi all,

I'd like to get my hands on the Spinpoint M9T 2TB, which is in the Seagate Backup Plus Slim line of external hard drives. I've heard reports that the newer drives in the line are hard-wired and cannot be removed for use in a laptop. Before I order one and tear it apart, I thought I'd see if anyone here can confirm or deny that rumor.
