Hi. I have read all that I can find about this topic, but I am having no luck opening it. I have some RAM I would like to install but it's useless without being able to open it up. Who here has experience, and does anyone have any tricks to this.

Make sure to use a putty knive that is thin enough to stick between the narrow opening but sturdy enough to pry it open with. I used some ultra thin flexible putty knives at first but they cant pry it open. You really need to bend the case from the base! Good luck :D

I just upgraded my mini myself. It was very easy once I got that queasy feeling out of my stomach. Actually it wasn't hard at all.

That video was very helpful. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Any no you don't need to remove the CD drive just for the RAM. Only for the hard drive.
