Hey guys,

I recently took out my old PowerBook g4 15" and it won't star due to a bum hard drive. I want to install a new hdd - could be 7200 or ssd.

Do you recommend ssd? If so which models will fit in my computer?

What is the max ram this machine can take? What type?

Any other suggestions or recomendations are gretly appreciated!

2.5" IDE (P-ATA) HDDs and SSDs will fit into it.
As there are many PowerBook G 4 models, you might narrow down you specific model to get better and more precise help.

The maximum RAM can be either 1GB or 2GB, depending on the model and so on.
