I use it right now. It's a bit faster and less of a memory hog than Firefox, but also has some minor compatibility problems.

Not a fan of Safari.

Give it a go. Why use only one browser? I enjoy using Opera, it is fast, works fine for the sites I regularly visit. I rarely use Safari or FireFox, but I have them installed. Try also SeaMonkey, replaces the Mozilla browser, it is an all-in-one browser. I like that one too. Get Shiira, based on Safari, works fine and is fast. My point is, don't just use one, there are many choices. Each one has its pluses and minuses.

I downloaded Opera 9, spent time customizing it, but things keep reappearing that i thought i deleted. It looks hideous (not too bad with certain skins). I'm sticking with safari, although I really love the trash can feature in Opera, which basically allows you to retrieve sites you've closed out of without having to go back and reload them.
