Never did try Opera on iPhone but... just installed Opera for iPad and I'm amazed how quick it is and how smoothly web pages load.

Honestly, thinking its a great replacement for Safari on iPad. Am I missing something?

Don't know about ipad, but the iphone app was crap until it was just updated like a week ago. It seems pretty nice so far.

I was not impressed, it's just a basic browser. Atomic or iCab are much more powerful.

well, it is smooth but certainly not fast...

The GUI is great, best in class...but all sites come only in the mobile version by default, this is a royal pita...

it has potential...

I wish it had the ability to report itself as a full browser, getting pages formatted for blackberry screens isn't the greatest experience on an iPad.

I hoped it would have been better. The Opera desktop browser is nice. Opera mobile leaves much to desire.
