Two weeks ago it was revealed that Microsoft's MSN portal targeted Opera users, by purposely provided them with a broken page. As a reply to MSN's treatment of its users, Opera Software today (February 14, 2003) released a very special Bork edition of its Opera 7 for Windows browser.

The Bork edition behaves differently on one Web site: MSN. Users accessing the MSN site will see the page transformed into the language of the famous Swedish Chef from the Muppet Show: Bork, Bork, Bork.

(of course, this would probably have been more fun if we were all Opera fans, but since Safari came out...well, thought it was worth a share with y'all anyway):)

Microsoft bastards. I use Opera 6.0.5 on my PC, and I love it. Can't live w/o mouse gestures (sp?). Good stuff.

Assuming someone doesn't post it before me, I'll do it when I get home, at a friend's house right now. :D

this is perfect :) the smaller companies need to wage this kind of browser warfare on MS...

plus the swedish chef... well, that was the ultimate touch.
