? operating system on a 2011 MBP

will Apple one day not update the operating system on my 2011 late MBP ?

Most certainly. All OS's eventually become outdated. I have a 2011 MBP that is still able to run Yosemite but I am not sure how much longer Apple is going to support my system. It is getting pretty old even though it still runs like a champ.

Giving it some thought about selling and getting a new MBP when the next one comes out........... 15" MBP !
