Hello everyone,
I'd love to get your opinion about the future of app UI/UX design for OS X platform.
As we've seen with yesterday's anouncment, Apple are pushing Skeuomorphism out the door, getting rid of textures and imitations of real life elements. This is an obvious signal of their so-far decided direction of UI/UX design.
I'm wondering, for currently existing apps or future ones, how do you think UI/UX should be designed and rendered for the users?
Should it be Skeuomorphic like it's been with iOS and some (or a lot of apps partially) OS X ones?
Should it be just like iOS 7 apps where typography comes into play with a lot of colours?
Or should it be like WP and Windows 8 like, where it's really flat, with darker cues?
