opinion on 'how 2' get os-snow on Inspirion1400

I'm newbie here, would like somebody's advice on installing OS-snow on Inspiron 1440 with all the how to's and if to's

Pentium duo- core T4200 at 2.00 GHz, 4 GB RAM, 64 bit

Try the insanelymac forum - they are better at setting up a hackintosh.
For example:

The Inspirion 1440 isn't listed on there.

Installing on the Dell Inspirions requires monkeying around with Kexts. You cannot simply pop in a normal OSX install disk and expect it to work. If you are not familiar with kexts then I suggest you buy a Mac.

And of course it is a violation of the Apple EULA to do it.
