Opinions on Ergotron Armatures?

There doesn't seem to be any product in their list that supports a 30" monitor. I was wondering if the Ergotron LX would have sufficient support for one, or if it doesn't, I would be content with having the LCD sit flush on my desk without having to worry about it falling down due to lack of support. This is the one I'm thinking about:

Could also make use of my notebook as well.

Ask about maximum weight supported. It's not so much the size of the monitor that's an issue for stands, but weight.

I use the ergotron LX series for my 23" ACDs, and to me, that seems to be about the upper bound of the weight limit.

The size limit can be ignored, as monitors are fairly symmetrically balanced, but I think the LX weight limit is something like 20lbs. I believe the 23"s are around 15, and I had to really tighten all of the LX joints to make movement fluid but stable.
